FREE DRESS DAYS!!!

Heeeyyy my readers!
My computer FINALLY got fixed, and I can post the pictures from all my free dress days (my school normally has a free dress day once a month). So, you can see what my style is REALLY about.
This is how I express myself:

September:

maxi dress (Sol Clothing); denim jacket (Espirit); paisley-print purse (vintage); sandals (BATA); sunglasses (RAY BANS!)
I got this BEAUTIFUL maxi dress at this small "boothlike" place on a promenade. I'm in LOVE with that place!

October:
Unfortunately, I left the dress from my outfit at my home in Korea. :( So I'll compensate by posting pictures of this OTHER outfit that I got lots of compliments on!

zebra-print dress (American Apparel); hat (Bijoux Terner); scarf (Target); cardigan (Rumours); ring (Zahara); metallic purse (CHE CHE); booties (Nordstrom); sunglasses (Ray Bans)

My friends particularly liked that picture on the bottom. They said I had a "supermodel facial expression." Hmmm...

November:
That free-dress day, a queen came to our school for a special event! I dressed up in this gorgeous dress (even though I was only an insignificant audience member).

I LOOOVVEE this pretty purple color (above). Unfortunately, it's only on the INSIDE of the dress (sigh). So I'm showing it to the world!!! ... I don't know why everything is underlined right now... I tried fixing it, but to no avail! Ugh... ah well

dress with included slip (Paliskate); clogs (Cathy Jean)

vintage earrings (by the way, my ears aren't pierced so all the earrings in my posts are clip-ons)

2 woven bracelets (Christmas presents from my friend); bangles (from this Indian seminar at my school)

clip-on hair net (Korea ^^)

I completed the look with a denim blazer (from the September outfit).

December:
In my opinion, every outfit needs some funk, and these tights are just the funk this outfit is craving!

pink shirt (vintage Ralph Lauren); corset dress (Korea); AWESOME punctuation tights (American Apparel)

striped fedora (Target)

2 silver rings on left (vintage); vintage snowflake earrings; gold ring on right (I bought this at a holiday boutique when I was in elementary school)

black combat boots (I got these at some punk store in Korea. Because my friends always considered me as the "sweet, girly" one, they were shocked when they saw me wearing these. Little did they know that I LOVE punk rock. GO EIGHTIES!)

I read somewhere that outerwear shouldn't just be an after-thought: thus, this awesome olive-green coat with rhinestones completed the look!

January:

I ADORE the embroidered floral design on this camisole.

All my life, I had always said that I would NEVER wear mustard yellow. This skirt made me change my mind forever.

lace top underneath (Ragdolls); camisole (my grandmother received this as a present, and she "re-gifted" it to me because she felt the shirt was too "scandalous" for her elderly age); floral skirt (Korea); sparkly tights (American Eagle)

My dad gave me this CHE CHE purse as a Christmas present when I was 10. Isn't it gorgeous?

floral pins (birthday present from my aunt); 2 silver rings on left (vintage); beaded flower ring on right (Korea)

Cathy Jean clogs (I always dreamt of having clogs. I outgrew the ones that I loved (when I was 8). Alas, a pair of grown-up clogs! ^^)

navy blazer (Korea)

vintage rose brooch (rosever: a special company that specializes in roses dipped in gold and silver!)

February:

sweater dress (Max Studio); grey sweater tights (Korea)

snow leopard-print hoodie (Rodarte for Target); studded vest (Korea)

grey slouchy boots (Pink Ice)

sparkly butterfly pin (Korea); star clip-on earrings (ICING); vintage ring

March:
AHHH! I love spring. Since that particular free-dress day was quite sunny and warm, I was able to ditch tights! YAY!

light blue button down (Korea); colorful wrap skirt (Mango); vintage mint green blazer

CHE CHE purse; vintage pins and tribal bracelet

April:
Unfortunately, there was NO free dress day in April. However, I WILL post pictures of these two t-shirts I hand-painted!

This turquoise one took me a while to paint; it has lots of details, as you can see. I thought of the design myself.

This cobalt-blue splatter painted one took me a LOT less longer because I was just releasing my frustration and emotions by splatter painting.

May:

my FIRST maxi-dress (Korea); cardigan (Rumours)

Aren't the colors of this dress pretty? I coordinated this jaw-clip (I think that's what it's called) from Korea, with the pink of the dress.

woven bracelet on far left (present from my friend!); floral-beaded bracelet (Claire's); bangles

sandals (Korea)
June:
Since my school starts in late August, we ended the first day of June (which was not a free-dress day).

I hope you enjoyed looking at all my free-dress day outfits. This post took me a while. I dress according to my mood (which is constantly changing). That's what makes me a chameleon! ;)
